Say it ain't true Pea. I agree if you want to back away for a while but, I have to tell you that the Blog is one of the first things I look at each day, hoping to see a new topic or story. Maybe, just maybe we can keep it going.
and no body even noticed that this Classic Beatle Abbey Road crossing shows them on their way in the opposite direction for another "take"! Check out Pauls shoes...no bare feet.
Pea..you petulant Diva, you...how dare you scare us like that! Blogging to you is like Spinach was to Popeye...it energizes you, it taps your creativity, like McCartney, it's an outlet, like Fishing was to Hemingway, like Soda Bread is to Alyce, like the Swallows returning to Capistrano...it's what you do, it's dependable like Staubach, it'a a constant, just like the MCK.Bros are...Welcome Back Kotter, may the Force be with us all! Salud!
Whew! I feel better this morning knowing the Blog rolls on. Now, how many of your readers have ever actually crossed Abbey Road, just as the Fab Four did in circa 1969? I too walked across the street - in both directions. If you stand there a while, there is a steady stream of people who come and do the exact same thing. The walls outside the studio are covered with hand-written messages to the "Beats" and apparently they repaint the walls white every week or so. Amazing.
That is a neat story EJM...I remember your venture to Europe. You were young. Did you buy a motorcycle? Did you meet a babe from Switzerland? Did you punch out an English dude at Picadilly Circle? Did you also have a Fork in your back-pack?
