I told him I already have butter
& also I have cream cheese!
I then ran down the stairs & hid my soda bread

Mmmm, they look delicious Pea...one of these days I'm going to bake one myself...believe it or not, Mary has Mother's recipe in her cookbook on the kitchen shelf...perhaps tomorrow!
Today I asked Alyce where Mother got the recipe. Alyce said she got it from her Mother. It must be true. How else would you come up with a recipe like that. Not to be dramatic but Alyce was really precise on the measurments today. And did you know that the most costly ingredient is the caraway seeds? The similarity between Alyce's soda bread detail & Timmy's table making detail are fascinating
