New place, new Weber.
Jason & Courtney have a new place & a new Weber. Problem is, the Weber needs to be put together.
Holiday weekend...Yippee! I finally get a day off and now I am called on to help with the Weber assembly? No rest for the weary...
I will be assisting in the assembly this Saturday. If anyone else wants to help you are invited.
If we assemble the Weber quick enough we can have a barbecue!
If we don't get it done we can go to the local Beef & Ale Bar where I can tell you War stories...
bring your brain
And all the mechanicaly inclined people you may know...

How would you wear your pants if you were a Major Leaguer?
Saturday, August 23, 2014
As the people who live & visit Blossom Hill can attest...
This is the best hooded/zippered sweat shirt I have ever owned. I wear it nearly every day. It's an "EVERLAST"
The one I wear now is 3+ years old and is beginning to fray. I need more. And their only $18.99 at my local K-Mart store. Problem is...they had none in stock.
I did talk to Management about that...

It has been 2.5 years I've lived here with no Mustiness. I now have mustiness. What's the solution?
With the weather : Sunshine, clouds, rain, chilliness (Maureen tells me the chilliness is just my thyroid condition)
But I'm concerned about the Mustiness smell & what do I do about it?
I'm told moth balls really smell & they are too difficult to Harvest.
Do you suffer from Mustiness?
Thank you sis! I did a search & found an unused Dehumidifier in TJ's Wood Shop!

I do not have a Photo, cause everyone had a photo phone & there were so many of them. But, today was Maureen's Birthday
I stood in the background on the back porch and watched her get surrounded by her Grandkids singing Happy Birthday.
Happy Birthday Mo, you are a lucky Nanny!

I have to be misreading this whole Ice Bucket Phenom. Help me out here...It makes no sense!
per the New York Times...
"The fundraising phenomenon asks those willing to douse themselves to challenge others to do the same within 24 hours. If they don't, they must make a donation to a certain charity. Each person who participates nominates more friends, who nominate more friends, who nominate still more friends, which explains why the trend has exploded."
Now the Pea asks...If you douse yourself with an ice bucket, you can challenge 4 friends to do the same thing. If your friends DO NOT douse themselves with an ice bucket they have to donate $100.00 to ALS. Am I right so far?
So, if you douse yourself with an Ice Bucket you DO NOT have to donate $100.00 to a charity.
What am I missing here?

I thought it was just me...then I saw the comments on Philly.com...
I stopped watching the Eagles 1st pre-seaon game after the 1st quarter. The Refs with their constant calls! And now they have headphones with microphones that are tuned in to a control room in New York? It drove me nuts! I couldn't watch it.
I'm hoping this was just a Test. Was it?

I have had to make adjustments in my travels also...
Low water Fountains, low urinals in Rest Stops, what to do with smelly sneakers before boarding a plane, etc.
Not easy being on the Road
A coffee tube & a beer tube
I don't drink a lot of coffee. Most of the time when I drink coffee it is coffee I make in my coffee maker.
Recently I have seen stories about coffee shops that do not clean their tubes on a regular basis. I have only been in a Starbucks one time. I ordered nothing. My son did. I had no clue that Starbucks delivers coffee through tubes!
My brother Timmy delivers Beer through tubes. Every time Timmy puts a new Beer in his Beer delivey system he cleans the Tubes! Drives me crazy! He brings out tool & chemicals.
Bottom line? Whether it's Beer or Coffee you need to Clean your Tubes!
Or just have a lot of ice and drink Nikolai...no Tubes required...

Another "who cares Pea!" Post that I find interesting...
(Houston (/ˈhjuːstən/ hyoo-stən) is the most populous city in Texas and the fourth most populous city in the United States. According to the 2012 U.S. Census estimates, the city had a population of 2.16 million people within a land area of 599.6 square miles (1,553 km2).[5][6] Houston is the seat of Harris County, and its metropolitan area is the fifth-most populated in the U.S., with over 6 million people.[7])
The world population is about 7.2 billion people. Did you know that the entire world population will fit inside the United States, with the same Density population of Houston, from the East Coast to Nebraska. That means all the people in the world could live here and not disrupt Wyoming, New Mexico, Montana, S Dakota, N Dakota, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California, Alaska, Hawaii.
With all the space in the World, Brother John wants me to think about investing in a "Small Home" in Bucks County, Pa
With a VA no money down Mortgage

Baseball, Football, Basketball
Random thoughts:
- Baseball has Managers, Football has Coaches as does Basketball
- Baseball Managers wear the uniform, Football coaches wear wind breakers, sweat shirts, all with the Team Logo on them. Basketball coaches wear Armani-like suits.
- Baseball Managers have coaches. About 5 of them. 1st base coach, 3rd base coach, pitching coach, hitting coach. Bench coach.
- Football coaches have a mutitude of coaches and coordinators.
- We rarely hear about Basketball Assistant coaches or co-ordinators.
- We rarely see a Baseball or Basketball Team owner featured in their Super Box with their spouse or significant other surrounded by Family & Celebrities on TV.
- Football Team owners are often shown on TV surrounded by such people.
So how can it be that the LA Clippers can sell for $2 Billion and the Buffalo Bills are selling for about $1 Billion?

How about if we have a major sporting event without Referees, Umpires, Judges or Stewards? I Love that a 65 to one shot did ...
