Reminds me of when the Brothers would invite me, Paul, Timmy & John onto the stage at the Elbow! Lol!!

Raindrops on roses & whiskers on kittens... these are 3 of my favorite things...from my party today...

ask me anything...

a card from Maeve...
the playing card symbols got to me!

and my cozy quilt from Sis!

Basketball has the best athletes in all of sports...and All sports are filled with great athletes

The Warriors beat the Thunder tonight in game 7...

We average humans have no clue what these
Pros go through.
No matter the Sport.

baseball/football/hockey/squash/tennis/lacross/track/golf
tennis/auto racing/swimming/whatever...

to be an elite athlete you have to be gifted with ability & then work really,
really hard at it...cause you are gonna be competing against other really, really gifted athletes.

If someone makes it to the Pro level in any sport,
that is unique & special & I tip my hat to them.

I just don't want to have my photo taken with them or have them
give me an autograph...

It was a very Fun Birthday surprise today!

I had no clue. Timmy says there were plenty of clues
but I am too deaf to hear the clues!
We had a Sax player playing
Happy Birthday!
now that's a 1st...
It was a memorable day & a fun day
but it was no match to the parties we had on
D Street "back in the day"!
Thank you all !

This may take some 'splanin!

So Maeve finds my cell phone on a table

she starts texting & calling people.
Now you have to remember that I have the Senior Citizen
Library feature on my phone with precoded texts
such as, "how are you", I Love you", "call me"
"Im busy" "doing fine"
Maeve tells me, hold on Pea

She tells me she texted her Mom & Dad,
called Faith and also called Katie
who was sitting on the back porch!

Oh yea, and she also called Poppie to report that
the bananas in the fruit bowl are going bad.

Maeve told me the phone was sitting alone and
looked like it needed a home...

The Weber has survived its 14th winter & now enters its 15th Grilling Season!

The Weber grill was invented by a guy named Wee Willie Webber who was a weatherman
on TV & a radio personality from 1955 ' til about 2010. Wee Willie believed
that when Spring arrived, wee, the Public needed an outlet from the dark/dreary days of Winter.
And Wee Willie loved grilled meat! pork/ribs/burgers/chicken/beef/buffalo/venison whatever,
Wee Willie Webber was a Griller! That's why he invented the Webber Grill...

(that is actually a narrative for the clueless millenials but don't tell them, let em figure it out)

Anyway, my weber is ready for grilling
15 years after it was born!
whistle clean

Not sure if I use my Grill more than my vehicle.
Low mileage on both

Golden Loves Guitar !!

Did you ever wonder how the Philadelpia Union got their uniform colors?

It is pretty interesting and really confusing and you probably do not care...but here goes...

Colors and badge[edit]

Join, or Die Benjamin Franklin was recycled to encourage the former colonies to unite against British rule
This cartoon by Benjamin Franklinwas the inspiration behind the Union's brand
On May 11, 2009, the Philadelphia Union's name, crest, and colors were officially announced during a ceremony held at Philadelphia City Hall. "Union" alludes to the union of the Thirteen Colonies, of which Philadelphia was the first capital.[14] The name was chosen following a fan poll held between January 19, 2009 and February 6, 2009; the other three options were AC Philadelphia, SC Philadelphia, and Philadelphia City.[15][16]
The Union's colors are navy blue and gold, representing the primary colors of the Continental Army's uniforms during the American Revolutionary War. The team's crest is circular, symbolizing unity. Its thirteen gold stars represent the original Thirteen Colonies, while the shield's contour derives from the Philadelphia coat of arms. The rattlesnake pays homage to the "Join, or Die" political cartoon by Benjamin Franklin that was featured in the 1754 Pennsylvania Gazette, and is also reminiscent of the Gadsden flag, another Revolutionary icon. The light blue in the middle of the crest is a tribute to the Sons of Ben, and is further derived from the civic flag of Philadelphia.[17] Coincidentally, the navy blue, gold, and light blue colors of the Union are also the predominant colors in the state flags of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. The team's secondary logo is a simplified version of the aforementioned design comprising the blue shield with the rattlesnake, augmented with a gold border and a ribbon bearing the team's official motto: "jungite aut perite", a Latin translation of the phrase "join or die", which was also used in the 1754 Benjamin Franklin political cartoon mentioned above.[18]

I warned you it was confusing...

How the Media influences things

On Saturday Trump's daughter graduated from Penn.
The AP & the Inquirer showed a 'head shot' of Trumps daughter, Tiffany,
from when she was in a Fashion Show in NYC.

Tiffany is Trumps daughter from his marriage to Marla Maples.
They live in California.
This is a photo of Tiffany & her Mom preparing for the Graduation.

Why would the AP (Associated Press) use the Fashion Show
full make-up photo of the graduate instead of the photo
with the Mom & Daughter together? And the Inquirer uses the Model Photo!
AP is the source of about 80% of all news stories & photos.

I found the better photo & a number of other good ones in about two minutes,
so why did "Philly.com" choose the bad photo?

drove me batty!

Can you see it? Look again. No, really. Look closer. See it now? Yes, it's a brick wall. But it's also something else. The latest optical-illusion challenge to sweep the Internet is a seemingly dull photo of a pretty ordinary brick wall.

NBA Lottery format will be determined next week. Brett Brown will represent the 76ers.

The actual Draft will take place in June. The 76ers are projected to get either the #1 or #2 pick.

Ben Simmons from LSU via Australia & Brandon Ingram, a Duke freshman, are the probable
1 & 2 picks.

Ben Simmons is 6'11, handles the ball like a guard
but is considered a wuss. His LSU team did not
even qualify for the NCAA Tournament.

Brandon Ingram was a HS All American, starred at Duke
as a Freshman, is also 6'11 and plays closer to the basket than Simmons.

If I were in charge of the Draft choice I would select Simmons.
Why? you ask?

Because between his senior year in HS and his freshman year
@ Duke, Ingram did this to his young body...

And this old guy has a problem with young people
that would do that to their young body...

It is ugly & he & his Mom & Dad are stupid!

Oh, now this is curious....

“The State Department has searched for Mr. Pagliano’s (Hillarys IT guy) email post file and has not located one that covers the time period of Secretary Clinton’s tenure from 2009  to 2013,” State Department spokesperson Elizabeth Trudeau said today.

Ms Trudea said The State Department (headed by
John Kerry, who served in Viet Nam) & got many medals,

will continue the search for any correspondence
between Mr Pagliano (Hillary's IT guy) and
Secretary Clinton & her staff...

When you think about it, why would your IT
guy ever need to email you?

"nothing to see here...move on..."

Mothers Day circa 1954

Back then when you were 7 or 8 you started
to realize that your Mother was pretty important
to your everyday existence.

You then find out at school that there is a Sunday in May
when you are supposed to give her something.
But you have no idea what to give her and
if you did have an idea you have no money!

Your big brother is clueless.
Your big sister says I should draw Mother a Hallmark Card.

Michael suggested we sing Kumba ya accapella...
Timmy was 3 & sanding wood figurines...

So i snuck in "THEIR" room & grabbed the 1st thing I saw.

Rosary Beads!
I put the beads in a box & my Mother Loved them!
just another reason why I was Mothers favorite...
lol...
