I Post this cause the Google Blog keeps updating things & it makes one have to search...and read stuff..

...and just try to figure stuff out...Like Fonts (what the Heck is a Font?)
  • mmmmmmm:did I see that? No you did not. Yellow is not a good choice on a white background. Red is better...but Black is best...
  • Punctuation: underlining...Italicizing...crossing things out...Fonts/fonts etc...
Spacing;
this way?

this way?
or this way? Power Points...
  • Numbered points...2..3..4...etc
Columns

...and so much more to Explore while Blogging

All this may seem like simple stuff to some of you but it is very challenging to an Old Fart like ME!!!

thank you very much for your understanding & support...

Poppy and his Pool

The Music is strange but that's because my Music Library is rather limited.

Thanksgiving Week and Winter is Coming

Well, this is Thanksgiving week and it dawns on me that with the holiday season, soon will come Winter.  That means I'll be spending more time in my workshop, staying warm by the fire, and getting back to my real hobby of making hand axes.  I look forward to dusting off my tools, stoking the fire, wearing my apron, and creating again.  I thought I'd share a video that might put you in the mood to do the same in your workshop.

This year, December has 5 Saturdays, 5 Sundays and 5 Mondays.

( The November Moon disappearing to the West of Lancaster)...it's like it's giving me "The Evil Eyes" or something...(Night Photo taken of the Moon by Pea) all rights reserved

Take Note..."This 5, 5 and 5 thing only happens once every 824 years" people have done the Math on That!

meanwhile...I finally figured out where the Moon disappears to in mid November when I am sitting on my Patio in Lancaster gazing at the Sky... It slips below the Horizon in the West at about 10:30PM. Just disappears from view.

This shit never happened in Roxborough!

TJ...working on future Multi-million dollar silkscreens!

The World is Nuts! not sure which silkscreen was sold. I was not at the Auction

Marlon Brando on a motorcycle Sold at a Christie Auction yesterday for $23.7 million!

"another of the major lots, a 1981 Andy Warhol silkscreen of Marlon Brando on a motorcycle in The Wild One, saw a spirited 8 minutes of bidding that included Joseph Nahmad and, on the phone with a client, Christie’s Chairman Bret Gorvy, who at one point threw out a sheepish $100,000 over $20 million, a bid that elicited a disappointed look from Mr. Pylkkänen and laughter from the room. Mr. Gorvy continued to bid against the Nahmad family, who eventually bought the work for their collection at $23.7 million, with premium.

“It’s an absolutely iconic work,” said Joseph Nahmad after the sale. “It’s such a sexy pose.”

And a sexy investment! When the work came up at auction in 1997, at Sotheby’s New York, it sold for just $1.7 million, and when it did again in 2003 at Christie’s New York it went for $5 million."

Stealth Bluejay

It is interesting. The Bluejays never made an appearance during the Summer. Now they are here every day, along with Cardinals, Mourning Doves and Chickadees.

PETRAEUS RESIGNS OVER 'AFFAIR'

Broadwell has continued to add titles and accolades to her bio, the latest being author. Her focus for the past year has been “All In: The Education of General David Petraeus,” which began as her Ph.D. dissertation three years ago. In a few weeks, after she is finished with the initial promoting of her book, she will again become a PhD student, a virtual research assistant at Harvard, and an Army Reservist assigned as an assistant teacher at West Point. “Yes, I wear a number of hats,” said Broadwell. “But my most important title is mom and wife.”

"Why women should not be permitted in Fox Holes"...a 4-Star General messes with a Female West Point Graduate, Harvard Phd student/Author.

What are 2 20 year old Privates from Arkansas going to do in the Fox Hole?

I know...don't even ask...and they will never Tell...

More Democrat Successes & Excesses on Nov 6, 2012...

Jesse Jackson Jr. suddenly disappeared from the public before the primary in early June when he left for a treatment center in Arizona. He later moved on to the Mayo Clinic where he was diagnosed with bipolar depression and gastrointestinal issues. and Jesse Jr got 63% of the Vote on Tuesday...

DETROIT (WWJ) Among the new group of state lawmakers to emerge from Election Day on Tuesday is Brian Banks, who has been convicted eight times for felonies involving bad checks and credit card fraud.

Banks, a Democrat and lifelong Detroiter, won a seat in Lansing as a state representative for the 1st District, representing the east side of Detroit

Meanwhile,Chris Matthews on MSNBC commented on Obama's Win with this gem: 'I’m So Glad We Had That Storm Last Week' it stopped Romney's Mojo is what people claim...

and our Final Example of Democrats in action is...Governor Moon Beam of California convinced the citizens that the Rich people in the State need to pay more Taxes! Proposition 30 was approved by the Electorate to enhance funding for Education...they are not spending enough already...it's like $16,000 per student...and that's not enough. Governor Moon Beam has said that it is only a "Temporary" tax increase. Sorta like the Temporary Tax assessment Pennsylvanians' still pay as a result of the 1889 Johnstown Flood...

...just a few observations that occupy my every day...
