Bird Bathes,,,baths...bath...

A lot of people do not want Bird feeders. Too many squirrels show up!

Have you considered a Bird Bath?

Birds Love them and squirrels ignore them.

You will be plesantly surprised when you see how many

birds bask in the Bird Bath!

My Bird Bath is about 5 years old & is tilting...My Sis gave it to me

about five years ago. And so many Birds have enjoyed it! It really is amazing.

Now, you may have noticed that the Bird Bath

is tilting & has masking tape applied to it in an

attempt to keep it up-right, and I had to put a flower tray on it because the thing started to leak.

 I tried Gorilla Glue to stem the leaks, which did not work.

Anyways...

I once saw the same Bird Bath sold at ALDI'S for

$17.95 US but did not buy it!

Stupid Me!

I should have bought three of them!

You really need to get youselves a Bird Bath!

I was talking to Jason today

He said he, Courtney & Brynn could not be here this past weekend because he had to work.

 It was the weekend before the MLB Trade Deadline which ended today. He now has to send out 300,000 emails to Cinc Reds Fans & 600,000 emails to National Fans!

He tells me that's nothing... He used to send out over 18 million emails to Laker Fans! And 3227 to '76ers Fans!

He is now teaching Brynn how to email...

Anyway, they are thinking, maybe, they will make the trip up here on

Saturday to visit & take a dip!

A stopover can make it 15 hours plus...

The Grankids look unaffected by jet-lag.

I think we were pretty much overwhelmed with our trip.

Oh Yea!

We need a cat door! I am sick of having to let the cat in & out all day!

So nagged the wife...so on Saturday morning Poppy went to Home Depot
and spent $88.99 for a cat door Kit.

Poppy also spent about 2+ hours measuring, sawing, levelling and sealing the
darned cat door kit!

So this is the cats first attempt to enter thru the cat door...



So now the wife tells Poppy, "you need to teach that cat how to close the door"!

As far as I can recall, it was around April 30th, 2016 when...

Mom & Dad said we are moving to Spain for a year.

So here we are about to Depart...

They said Spain but they took us to Rome instead!

This is the pool outside our House in Spain, pretty cool.

So my Mom says, let's go to town and buy some lunch meat & cheese for sandwhiches.

It totally Grossed me out...

then our Dad was real proud that we got ID cards.

(whatever)

Thankfully we did finally meet some cool friends

the following weekend they took us to London,

London was really, really nice. I will go back some day.

the boys in Spain are really kind of Bozos.

I juked them so bad!

We also skeed the Alps.

Justin & Luke are really good at that & I'm

pretty good at it too...

Oh yea! Before the Alps we rode camels in Africa,

some place called Morocco.

I wanted no part of that!

I thought I read that Princess Grace was the Princess of Morocco at one time,

but my Mom told me Princess Grace lived in Monaco

& we may see that later...(whatever)

Anywaay, I think I am running out of space here so I have to cut it short.

We left southern France yesterday & are now in Paris where we ran 

into PopPop & Nan!

They just happened to be in Town the same time we were!

From Paris my Mom & Dad tell me we are headed to Brussels.

From Brussels we go to Ansterdam...

From Amsterdam we get on a plane & fly Home.

HOME!

I Loved our Trip but you know that old saying?

Travel Luggage

In the old days (pre 2001) the luggage you traveled with was a status symbol.

The Skycap took it at the curb & they retieved it @ your final destination.

For us lesser folks we lugged our stuff through the airport,

checked it in & waited 'round the carousel for our bag to drop.

There was no extra charge for checked bags.

Todays world travelers carry their stuff on their person!

I worked with Vung for a year...Jewell, the smartest guy I have ever met, replaced me...he
was from Boston. A graduate of MIT. He actually volunteered to be where we were.

The 14  year old dog got lost last September in IDAHO. That means the dog survived through the
winter in IDAHO which is near Canada where it is Cold in the winter. And snowy...
