The Question is this...

The bottom photo is of Judy Ann's older sister Linda. Linda's only child Taryn is next to her Mom. Taryn is 30 and will be getting married on October 5 (which happens to be Judy Ann's birthday). Anyway, I got an invite to the wedding on Sunday, Sept 29. The Invite was post marked 9/25.  The reply card says I should respond by Sept 14. The wedding is in Georgia.

• So, the question is... do you think I should attend or just send a gift?

Or maybe I should just Facebook this Post to Linda and Taryn? Any opinions?

Good story from Poppy TJ about Parents & kids sports...

TJ's gran-daughter was playing basketball in a 6 to 9 league. Nobody knew the game, nobody could dribble, nobody could shoot. But they had a referee & fans at the game! Poppy TJ says one father kept yelling at the ref to "blow the whistle" at the multitude of violations. The ref ignored him, the father would not let up.

At Halftime the ref approached the idiot father & said, "they're just kids that are trying to learn to play". The idiot father said, "how will they learn the Rules if you don't blow the whistle"?

Second Half starts and one team takes the ball out of bounds. The Ref blows the whistle,"foot on the line he says", other Teams ball. Other team takes the ball out, girl grabs it, takes 3 steps & tries to dribble. Ref blows the whistle, "walking" he says. Other team takes the ball out, Ref blows the whistle, foot on the line! Other Team takes the ball out. Girl catches it and proceeds to dribble with two hands....Violation, the Ref whistles...

The Ref looked at the idiot father and asked, "how soon do you want to go home?"

• The other parents burst out laughing
• The idiot father left the Gym to wait in his car...

• he said they don't have "bunks" so they don't shoot craps but they do play cards. Not Poker, they play Spades, he said.

I asked my follow-up, "do you play?" He said no...and then it hit me! Of course he doesn't play! He's an Officer! They have no fun...

What you eat...I am often times stunned when I read/watch what people eat & I have no appetite for...Like Branzino...what the @#! is Branzino?

 I saw this movie where this Fish was served & I thought, no way I would eat that! It comes all the way from Europe! How fresh could it be when it finally arrives at a restaurant  in Manheim?

I did have 2 Stauffers meat loaf, mashed potaters and string bean frozen dinners on Saturday night and they tasted very good...

I counted 7 Pizzas, One veggie tray, Meatballs in a Pot, 4 Sisters, one brother, one Cousin Father Tom on Vacation from Ireland, and about 8+ Nieces & Nephews tonight...

Scott, Keelan and Blair  seemed to handle it well...Me? I just stayed in the background...

Live Bands!

I have never seen him Live. I don't claim to know his Music. But from the little I know & have seen I think Bruce & the East Street Band is the Best Live Rock Show ever...My 2nd place Live Rock Concert great would go to Freddie Mercury and "Queen"
