Emails can provide a good memory

A friend of mine, from our Air Products band, passed away a little over 2 years ago. I was cleaning out some emails and came across one from him from three years ago. It just made me laugh. Maybe emails will become like old letters. When you re-read them they can trigger some good memories. Don't mean to be a 'downer', the joke cracked me up. Maybe you'll like it too. A guy is driving around Tennessee and he sees a sign in front of a house:"Talking Dog For Sale ." He rings the bell and the owner tells him the dog is in the backyard. The guy goes into the backyard and sees a Labrador retriever sitting there."You talk?" he asks. "Yep," the Lab replies."So, what's your story?"The Lab looks up and says, "Well, I discovered that I could talk when I was pretty young. I wanted to help the government, so I told the CIA about my gift, and in no time at all they had me jetting from country to country, sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders,because no one figured a dog would be eavesdropping. Meanwhile, Cooker was rounding the Bases Exhalting in his "Shot" that richocheted off of the "EL" that was passing by, 435 feet from Home Plate & 63 feet in the air...

Two teen papa john employees are taking a break, leaning on their car whose door and hood were different colors than the rest of the car. So, I come out with my Pizza & ask them:

• "there is hardly any rubber on those wheels, how long will they last?"
• they had those tires with about 3" of Rubber on them...and Giant Chrome Wheel Covers that Spin when you come to a Stop!
• One kid laughed and said "I don't know, Man"...the other kid
• Said..."Look how little hair you have Man & how long have you Lasted!"
• I did tell them the Wheels Looked Cool!

Here's a quick video of Justin during his tryout for the Eagles before the Pats game last week. He was asking me this morning when they were going to call him to play in the real game. I told him Vick may have taken his spot. We are hoping that he can get a chance on the practice squad.

Two Sons a Grandson & Me...Cool Stuff!

Courtesy of Sam, we sat in the "Club Box" Section of the EAGLES first pre-season game tonite. To get to the Club Box Section you are Greeted by a person in a Black Suit that takes you to the "Coincigere"(?) and then escorts you to an Elevator...where there is a Black Suited Elevator Operator! The Operator leaves you off in a hidden section of The Linc that has round tables, food concessions and air conditioning! I am sure it is Heated in the Cold Weather...The friggin' seats were PADDED!

• Jason had a NIKON camera
• Last we looked at the Snap Shot tally it was 804...
• He could not stop Snapping!

PHOTOS TO FOLLOW! A GREAT NIGHT! especially since we signed Michael Vick! I need to take Coco to training camp for a Michael Vick Blessing!

• Actually, that may be good PR for the Eagles...
• A 'Bring your Dog to the Game Day' and Michael will get on the Mic & apologize to the Canines in the Crowd!

Judith Ann and myself went to Sea Isle today to visit Michael & Mary...

• The Beach was full of Kanes'
• Sisters, Brothers, Daughters,Fathers,Mothers,Aunts,Uncles,Marine Biologists
• Grandson Matthew @ 3plus could throw the Wiffle Ball Farther than Pa!
• Pa could not return the toss to Matthew!

I was IMPRESSED...Not only could Matthew throw, but he was Pissing off Sunbathing Adults 150' from his Batters Box! He kept on hitting people with the Wiffle Ball while Pa kept throwing him Gofer Balls!

• This is a true story, The Cooker can no longer Toss! can't throw a ball 10 feet
• But...He Can Hit!

Reason he can't Toss is because of what they did during his Surgery last year...Scary stuff...

• He has no flexibility in his shoulders cause of the necessity to keep everything elevated during the Surgery...including the Shoulders...

Beril, Irving and David. I liked these guys! David, now 87, is identified as the Father of the Pilot, who was 60. Makes me sad...

• I Joined, Judith Ann joined also and we were able to see the Photos!
• Since reviewing the Photos we have no idea how FaceBook works...

• and the "help" went crashing through his 3rd story window...
