5 observations from Alyce and Paul’s 50th Anniversary Party

·         14 grandchildren, and the other young ones who were there, are all growing up to be really nice kids who seem to genuinely like each other. Those connections will last them a lifetime and that’s very cool.

·         One of my earliest memories of Paul was when I went with him to buy a six-pack of Coke across the street. I think we had pizza that night. It was great to see the slide show that young Paul put together and see photos from that time.

·         Speaking of the slide show, I loved seeing photos of the wedding. Dad walking Alyce down the aisle, the fraternity bros holding up the sign on the Boulevard, Alyce looked amazing, and I was only 9 years old… wow. I’d like to see that slide show again.

·          Paul loved that wireless microphone…

·         And the dessert table…. Ugh!

It is just September 29 & the Pool has been Winterized and covered!
Let's hear THREE CHEERS for T.J.!

And I Helped!
(a little bit)

Chip came up small on Sunday

The Offense was Horrible!

But they still had a chance to Win.

3rd and Goal from the one yard line with less than 2 minutes to play.

What to call? Should I have the QB throw it? Or should I have last years' leading rusher Run it?

What a Mess the Eagles Offense was in San Francisco!

Chip was totally out-coached on Sunday.

but I am still a Fan!

A Golden Anniversary Surprise Party for Big Sis and Dutch Hoss!

Color coordinated Family T's for the Grandkids!

I will probably be chastised for this, but what the heck...

Blair's Dad was promoted to Captain on Thursday. That's a big deal!

Neither Blair's Dad nor Mom posted anything about it on their FB pages

Although they did go to a Fancy Pants Dance!
And left Blair with Poppy & Nanny for a whole night! Nanny took Blair shopping, which is no big deal, cause Nanny will take the dog next door shopping on a Saturday!

Anyway... I spent 3 years in the Army. Got to be a Spec5 and the highest ranking Officer I ever got to talk to was a Captain. Captains were people the Grunts respected. Lieutenants were like the Parish Priest. Captains were like the Parish Pastor who was also a Monsignor.
Majors were like Bishops... & Colonels were similar to Cardinals.
Generals were like Popes.
In today's vernacular...Colonels & Generals are the One Percenters!

So I just want to say congratulations to Blair's Dad on making Captain!

Eddie's Football Follies

After seeing these films, it's clear I was not really a football player, I just kind of ran around. I think I looked pretty good in a uni though.  Watch to the end to see more young BM's in attendance. Can you spot Uncle Tom?

I just thought some of us Old Timers might enjoy this

Other than the obvious Stars can anyone ID the lesser known stars?

It was always a Happier week at work...when the Eagles Won .

Most people picked the Eagles to lose to the Colts
