Visits to the Lancaster Farmers Market & The World Famous small town of Lititz

Pandemonium @ the Pea's place tonight!

We were expecting company. We were gonna make pizza (well, Timmy was gonna make pizza)...but Maureen gets sick...goes to the Doc...gets shipped to the Hospital for an IV. But before she goes for the IV Maureen brings home Lasagna & a salad...along with 2 different salad dressing along with Plain bread & Garlic bread.

Anyway, Maureen is in the Hospital with an IV drip in her arm. Her husband comes home for dinner, their 2nd born shows up 'cause she & her hubby just finished a wedding Anniversary dinner Date night. Meanwhile ...Keelan & Blair call Sam & arrange to meet up at the Farmers Market on Tuesday morning...

And Maura, who has lived in this house for 14 years has no clue where the outside lights are for the kids to play on the Jungle Gym thing!

I found the light switch.

And Timmy & Maureen are still @ the Hospital 6 hours later...  

Oh yea, one more thing...Sam was at my computer & re-arranged a lot of stuff I will have to figure out later...

4 hous & 11 minutes is the time I'm told that it took Alyson to finish the Philadelphia Marathon. And she lives in Brooklyn!

Anybody want to challenge me to a best of 7 Backgammon Tournament?

For some reason today I thought about Backgammon. I went to the trunk I rarely open & there was the Board. Had to ask TJ for some WD40 cause the Board had locks & had not been opened for many a year.

Judith Ann introduced me to Backgammon about 20 years ago. We played about 10 times a year & I won about 6% of the time.

I now have youtube...and I have watched some videos of  how to play the game...

Judith Ann did not tell me the tricks of the game. Thanks to youtube I now have a better understanding of the strategy behind Backgammon.

So, anybody want to challenge me to a best of 7 Tournament?

I'm thinking we need some Elvis...!

OK, I am now 48 years old and a Public person. I have a decision to make. Should I move on to the "go natural" Hippie pony tale look, or should I cut my hair in a more mature, business like look?

The Leaf Rakers

The Semisch Family showed up today to rake leaves. The back yard was a Field of Leaves!

Poppy Tim had the front pretty much under control & told Kate that he was not going to bother with the rest of the leaves. Well, the Semisch family showed up today with rakes & leaf blowers & 180 Evergreen is now leaf free.

Maura & I wanted to help but they did not have enough rakes.

I did hear Momma Semisch scream to someone, "if you don't have a rake in your hands in the next 10 seconds, you are in big trouble"! I reached for the rake nearby but Kate's son Timmy beat me to it.

I blew it cause I did not bring out my camera to document the effort and to show the stuff the Semi's accomplished...

Poppy tonight is very tired & pleased with the status of his leaves.

A side note: above we have a Latino Turkey, an African American Turkey and an Anglo Saxon Turkey.

Dermatology stuff...

Went to see my Doctor, Maria Ruida a couple of days ago. She is a Dermatologist MD (did I spell that right?).

Dr Ruida is from the Ukrain, sort of difficult to understand what she is saying, especially when she puts a Face Mask on. Of course to me everyone is difficult to understand. Anyway, my biggest complaint on this visit was that I had "Athletes foot" on my fingers! She knew what I was talking about...put a name to it...She put her Mask on & burnt the crap out of me...and  then
 recommended Okeeffe's cream for my dry skin.

She told me that the Okeeffe cream contains a lot of silicone and is like a "Glove". 

I have applied the stuff for 2 days now & I already feel a difference

Dr Ruida told me that it is sold only at Lowes. She even told me what aisle to look in...Aisle 9

Dr Ruida's paint roller advice is for another time

Just last week I was telling my Landlord about millabars.

I was warning that the millabars will be low in the next 10 days and we will get a real chill

Millabars have to do with air pressure. I told my Landlord that we are going to get some low millabars next week & we need to prepare...

It is going to be a Chilly Week

Maybe we should start installing the storm windows you made last year, cause...

we may need more Insulation...

We may even get a Snow Fall this coming week!
