I learned a new card game tonight

My Grankids sent me a UNO Deck for Christmas, the instructions were confusing

and I put them away.

Nora was here today on "sick leave" and I asked her if she knew UNO.

I watch the Australian Open in real time...

I like Tennis. Timmy & I were discussing my late night TV time (Australia is 16 hours ahead of us) & he asked me why I do that.

I like tennis & the TV shows so many neat photos of Australia. Also, Chris McKendry is still hosting along with Chris Evert. What a Perk from ESPN! I'll bet she takes her family.

An aside, since Kelly & her sister both worked @ ESPN I wonder if they ever met Chris.

Anyway, I had a choice of 3 destinations for R&R...Australia...Hong Kong...or Thailand.

I chose Hong Kong. When I told my boss, Sgt Ward,  he said ok, but I'm going with you McKendry!

That's Sgt Ward on the bottom right. E-7, his 3rd tour which he called a Wussy tour 'cause there was little action. He did manage to get shot in his hand (his 2nd purple heart).

To finish, Sgt Ward showed me a bunch of stuff & took me to a bunch of places in Hong Kong, he had been there 6 times before! He knew people.

Me? I took my Movie Camera around the city.

Oh...& the bottom left photo proves the Reel-to-Reel Wolensak was mine!

Well, the McK Bros. will never do this song again...

John & Michael Road Trip

Timmy asked if I wanted to travel with him from Lancaster to Dallas this weekend. I said no, now I am thinking "why not?"

I'm thinking if I can get him to Dallas I might be able to convince him to go to Redondo Beach!

I'll  blow up my credit card rating but we will have a lasting Memory, a Legacy & Timmy will have done something crazy for once in his life after all these years!

Now the hard part is the return trip to the East Coast & the pissed wife. 

As for the return trip, it is not EZ. But we are BM's born to ride. Some people I know pride themselves on their long distance running ability...

but there is something inbred in a BM's ability to Long Haul drive!

We can drive, not for hours, but for days!

Don't let a tree stand ruin your next Christmas...

I "heard" there was some family tension this year in Lancaster when it came to putting the ol' Christmas tree in the stand.

Well, we've been a Krinner customer for years and we love this stand. (Ours in an older version but it's just as easy).

Pop the tree in the stand and enjoy a cocktail while you start decorating the tree. All in seconds!

I have no potatoes but I do have Pork & Sauerkraut ready, although...
