So we took a long drive...

From Blossom Hill in Lancaster on the morning of July 20, 2016 we drove to Redondo Beach, Calif.

Michael joined us on Sunday night, July 24.

It was a really fun time. Not one cross word amongst us, although there were a few

• Head shakes
• Crossed eyes
• Clenched teeth
• jovial jests followed by a 'just kidding'

We all are already bound so there was no real bonding necessary,

but we all thought we saw a rattle snake in the sand

so we walked over to investigate!

Yep! there it was...a slithering snake...Timmy said it was

rattling. Me & Michael heard nothing.

The total mileage for the round trip was 5837 miles

We had a manual chart that we followed, sorta like one of those computer models that automatically tell us who is next to fill the Car with gasoline and who is the next person to provide shelter for the night.

Gas ranged from $1.75 per gallon to a max of $3.04 in Calif.

The Hotel/Motels averaged about $100 per night...except in Calif where Sam picked up the tab for us.

The whole trip was enjoyable...although the driving can become rather boring.

Hopefully, photos/videos to follow...too tired to deal with it right now.

Oh it's good to be back home again...

Tomorrow we leave on a 6,000 mile Brother Bonding Trip.

Julian Castro is a person that is being considered a Hillary VP candidate...

Julian has a twin that is in the House of Representatives.

Julian was the Mayor of San Antonio, Texas.

San Antonio is run by Comittee, not the Mayor.

The Mayor is a figurehead.

For some reason President Obama made Julian the head of HUD,

that would be Secretary of Housing & Urban Development.

Julian & his brother did go to excellent schools...Stanford,

Harvard & Harvard Law School.

Did you know that not one of President Obama's Cabinet Appointees

spent more than a year in the private working world?

It was more than a few months ago when The Blog asked why would Hillary want to run for President of the USA? She and her husband are now worth more than $100 million dollars,
by all accounts. Being President pays about $450,000 per year, you get to live in a really old House with poor acoustics, you still have to pay for your own food when you eat at home or a restaurant.

You do get to fly places in your own airplane, but when is the last time Hillary did not fly in a private plane? The Clintons also own two really nice houses with good acoustics. One in DC and the other in
Chapaqua, NY. Not to mention Chelsea's multi-million "apartment" on the East Side of Manhattan.

Plus, Bill has 24/7 access to the Penthouse Suite @ The Clinton Library & Massage Parlor located
in beautiful downtown Little Rock, Ark.

All the"Prime Time Politicians" make a lot of money. Harry Reid, Denny Hastert, Tip O'Neill, etc.

But no Political couple has ever hit the Jackpot like the Clintons'!

By Hillary's own admission, they were dead broke when they left The White House in 2000!

They borrowed $$$ from Terry McCauliffe (a former businessman, like The Donald) now the Gov of Va that just signed an executive order to allow 18,000 former Felons to vote in 2016. If the felons vote, what Political Part do you think they will vote for?

But she was not the main bread winner in the Clinton household...in that same time span Bill brought home $24.6 million in speaking fees...this was just over a two year time period. So you may ask...well they made $45 million over 2 years, so what's wrong with that? If you ask "so what" you are part of the problem.

My take on the whole Hillary running for President thing is she and Bill have a lot of people to pay back and Hillary has to run for President, or else...She does not have to win but she does have to run!

'cause if she runs the powers that be will decide who wins...

And this is why The Powers That Be are so upset that Donald Trump has upset the apple cart!

Ray Duffy died as a result of a Heart Attack...

Talked to Michael today. Michael said he first met Ray in 1965 when the Hikers were conducting
an Audition, in the D Street Basement! They wanted to see if Michael had "the chops" to perform.

What I remember about Ray are two things:

• He drove a Green Rag Top Triumph

And #2,  I loved the sound of the Banjo he played so well

Which inspired me to go to Zaph's and buy a 5 string Banjo

that I never learned to play.

Ray told me he served in Viet Nam
