I was not paying attention when the Michael Bennet thing happened in Las Vegas during the
Mayweather/McGregor fight. Chris Cuomo & CNN were however...



The story from CNN was that Bennet was walking home & got stopped by the cops, slammed to the ground, cuffed and arrested! They went on further to report that Bennet had hired a prominate attorney. Bennet held a Press Conference back in Seattle to blast the Vegas cops as Racist!

You know the advantage Cops have over citizens?

1. Cops have guns
2. Cops are backed by the Law (as long as they follow the law)
3. Cops have handcuffs
4. Cops are trained in how to apply handcuffs (how many criminals carry handcuffs?)
5. Most Importantly, Cops have Radios on their shoulders.

Cops can call an Army of other Cops with a blast from their Radio!

So now we are back to the latest video from the Vegas Police Dept. This video shows Bennet on the ground, getting cuffed, wailing like and

having it explained to him why he was detained (not arrested). The Cops got a report of

gun shots. The Cops ran into the place & Bennet & his Pals were running out of the place.

If I were a Cop I would be thinking...shooter, dead people, hostages, terrorists, be careful,

be aware. I see guys running from the scene I am going to tell them to stop. They don't stop

I am going to go get them.

The Professional Golfer or Tennis player is the Franchise. He/She is not a billionaire investor with Partners. They do not own or negotiate w/ the City Council or the State Legislators for a new Stadium, they do not have TV deals. They do not share Profits with other Teams. They do not have Collective Bargaining Agreements.

No "Owner" pays them 1 to 30 million dollars per year.

 From what they earn in Prize money & Endorsement Deals they have to pay their Team.
The Good ones make a good living...The Great ones make a whole lot of money.

They blamed it on the Coffee Bean growers that claim they were affected by the Hurricanes that hit the USA the last month. They said, "if the Gas companies can do it why can't we"?

If you have a place in the Florida Keys you are pretty well off.

It's a really narrow place. You have the Atlantic Ocean on the East & The Gulf of Mexico on the West. In some places they lterally are only yards away from each other.

There is one road in & out. Route 1. Once you are out of the keys you drive through 100's of miles of swamp before you hit civilization.

One day after Hurricane Irma residents are upset that they are not permitted

back to their homes.

They don't seem to understand that the place is dangerous!

That maybe it's for their own good that they are not permitted to drive down

Highway One?

That maybe they should give the people that know what they are doing a few more days?

Or maybe the people that know what they are doing should just let the first 100

cars demanding to get back to their home drive on through?

That would not be right though, would it?

Happened this past Saturday

My own Private Hurricane: It was not as bad as Hazel but the Power went out last Tuesday night on Blossom Hill @ 5:08PM.

The sky turned dark at 5PM. It really stormed. Power went out, wind was a whippin', rain was horizontally pouring. The wind (local TV stations said Gusts were as high as 70mph) lasted 'til just before 6PM. The Power did not come back on. So, I got a deck of cards and played with an imaginary friend. Solitaire. And five card stud poker...

Thank goodness I had my flashlight.

I was 0 for 9 in cards when I took myself upstairs with my Flashlight & discovered Jack & a candle hiding in Timmy's cabinet!

picked up my camera and took some photos.

Later I did some Editing

It is really cool what you can do with a Photo.

(If only The Puckett bros had access to digital technology.)
