A message from Alyce to her brothers, et al

This Friday, March 13 Alyce will be hosting a 

"how to bake a soda bread"

session at her home in Mechanicsburg

She will also be showin' me how to make an Easter Basket for Brynn

(to impress Brynn's parents & other Grand Parents)

Alyce has asked me to extend the Invitation to all

of you & your spouses & boy friends (Jim Whalen?)...

Festivities will begin around Noon & depending on how many soda breads we make

it could extend into the Evening.

Brynn Bundled in Blue

Born in September just before winter

October I don't remember

but I remember September...I opened my eyes...

November was strange, we went for rides

I was bundled in Blue I remember that too

In a big Fat machine & I sat in the back

Since then I've not been outside

Except when I get bundled in blue & go for a ride

So I'm looking out the window

and the white stuff is gone & Mommy is singing, she is
singing, she is singing a song

And I'm surprised when she takes me outside

and I wonder what this is about?

no sitting in the back of a big black machine?

no wonder the neighbor called me baby in blue...

Mommy is strolling me around a wonderful scene! she calls it the neighborhood...
                                       I like it.

with a Hood that is too.

I am so Glad I don't own a Smart phone & can only get in trouble through my Desk Top (which TJ says is too small)

Hillary is two years my junior, has a grandaughter,

mucho dinero, two beautiful homes, two great pensions,

is Loved by the Left, makes $200 Large for a speech,

is married to a 69 year old Lounge Lizard who has a place in Little Rock called the Clinton Library & Massage Parlor that his buddies refer to as Mucho Rock...so...

Why the heck would she want to be President?

I watched the Villanova/St John's game today

On the same channel, the game was followed by the Movie

Seabiscuit. I had never seen it so I watched.

It was really good. Jeff Bridges is really good.

Now we feature Tina S a 15 year old French girl who has tremendous talent &
no personality.

Weasels are weasels. Have you ever heard anyone referred to as a weasel?

Have you ever heard a variation of the scorpion that hitched a ride across the river on a skeptical
snakes back? Well...

This is an actual photo of a baby weasel taking flight on the back

of a woodpecker.

People saw it & thought, "oh, how cute!"

In reality the weasel was doing what weasels do. It was trying to kill the bird

and the bird took off.

"As much as we’d all like to believe this is a wondrous tale of friendship wherein two mates go on an epic adventure featuring a baby weasel and his magnificent flying steed, sadly it’s NOT. It’s a photo of a weasel trying to kill a woodpecker."

PS...according to the husband & wife who were taking a walk & took the photo,

both the woodpecker & the weasel survived.

Wildlife expert Lucy Cooke explained to BBC News that while they usually attack rabbits, weasels are "fearless" predators and it isn't totally shocking that one would go after a woodpecker, a ground-feeder. 

"A female weasel weighs less than a Mars Bar but is as ferocious as a lion, so this is why the woodpecker would have been able to take off with it on its back," Cooke said.
