Naomi Osaka defeated Serena in the finals of the US Open.

An Australian cartoon draw-er by the name of Mark Knight did the cartoon.

And that is what Yahoo Sports said about the cartoon.

Some facts:

• Naomi was born in Japan & moved to the US at age 3
• Naomi's dad is Haitian
• Her last name is her mother's maiden name
• Naomi is 20 & speaks 'broken Japanese'
• My bros John & Timmy speak 'broken Spanish'

Serena was correct in saying that the men in tennis get away with a lot

more than she did

Serena really did lose her cool.

Naomi actually felt she had to apologize for beating Serena.

The NY crowd did not cheer for Naomi, they were booing the umpire.

The cartoonist says his drawing was all about bad sportswomanship.

Yahoo says it was racist. Mark Knight had also posted another cartoon about tennis:

Evidently a Male tennis player was also being an asshole at a tennis tournament!

So, what do you think?

Me? I think Serena was also being an asshole....

& as for Yahoo? Naomi did have a blonde ponytail.

I feed my 84 fish every night around 7PM & they Love me for it!

You would not believe how fish recognize the time & the feeder...they shake their tails like puppies.

I check my Blog (thenewgpblog.blogspot.com) after I feed my fish



I check if anyone responded to what was posted. Did anyone post something new, which my co-posters rarely do. Today when I cheked the # of hits I had gotten, for some reason this video from I think 2016 showed it got six views. I truly don't know why...

By the way...thegp blog is only 222 hits away from 150,000 Hits! I am already thinking
that when the Blog gets 200 thousand Hits sometime this winter, I'm thinking we'll have a sledding party...Bonfires, Hot chocolate, flannel shirts, snow bunnies, ear muffs & scarfs etc.

If it's really cold? We'll all just Power Through...

Probably one of the worst Home Made videos I have seen on Youtube...

  I'm sitting here watching the US Open Tennis Tournament and one commercial is for
encouraging youth golf. I remember we used to do Miniature Golf, Chip & Putt and
even what they called a Par Three Course.

• Miniature golf you used a Putter
• Chip & Putt you used a Wedge & a Putter
• A par 3 course you had a Wood/wedge & a putter

Watching Tennis on TV drove us to the tennis courts...we were not bad at it...

• The Golf stuff cost a few $
• The Tennis playing was Free

If I had a kid today? I would encourage them to play Golf or Tennis...

You don't see many old peope making YouTube videos today that feature

• Soccer games
• Football games
• L/X games
• Track & Field stuff

But we do see old people videos featuring them playing Golf or Tennis.
