I was one of the 234 people watching the NIT Tournament tonight. A game between Rhode Island & North Carolina. During the Game the announcers mentioned that the Coach of Rhode Island had also coached St. Francis of Loretta. His name is Jim Baron. I Googled Jim Baron & found this photo. It freaked me out!!!

Our brother Michael is "sorta" Left-handed. This kid in the photo can pitch w/ either hand!

A March Madness Observation...

I went to Wikipedia & looked up this Coach. He was born in Morgantown, W.Va. and now has them in the Final Four. What makes him a Good Coach?

SPRING TIME & LAWN CARE

Michael has a fairly large Lawn & he owns a Spreader. Timmy has a large patch of grass, but, it is Hilly. Eddie has just a small amount of grass (more out front than out back). No grass grows under John. Gerald has a lot of grass that he does not own, and he also does not own a Spreader. Alyce & Paul have the most grass in the Family.

Judith Ann came home on Monday, 3/22.

She went for Surgery on 3/11...everything seems to be normal now. Normal being: in pain, depressed, hungry but not hungry, uncomfortable, frustrated, very tired, etc. I say Normal 'cause brother Michael visited today and they were comparing Notes...

• Michael actually lifted his shirt up to show us his scars
• Judy Ann matched him by lifting her shirt & showing him wear her stitches are still in place!

And Michael says, "yes, exactly"...From scars and stitches they then went to Swelling...

• Leg swelling
• Ankle swelling
• Foot swelling

From there they proceeded to discuss Blood Pressure & Heart Rhythms...YIKES!!!

• At that point I had to go walk the Dog...

The biggest surprise to me is that when she went into the Hospital Judy Ann weighed 81lbs. On the day she was discharged from the Hospital she weighed 111 lbs. Do the Math, that is a 30 lb weight gain in 12 days!

• Not even a BM could do that!
• And we can do some serious Weight Gaining

Bottom line...she is Home; Nurse Gerry is the Caregiver; she is getting better; she's got New Pipes!; and what she refers to as her "Pear Shape" will dissipate with time.

The Health Care Bill & Some Pea Thoughts...

• Do you know there are 435 Members of the House of Representatives?
• 181 Republicans and 254 Democrats

Do you know what CBO scoring of the Health Care Bill is & that it gave many Dems an "out" to Vote Yea?

• 219 Democrats voted for the Bill
• 181 Republicans & 35 Democrats voted No
• that makes it 219 FOR and 216 AGAINST

Not exactly an overwhelming Majority...but a bi-partisan one....

• and now we have Health Care for all Americans...yep...that's Wonderful...fer shur...

Think of all that has happened since this photo was taken. I've never seen this shot before, made me a little misty, I must say. Everyone decked out in their Easter finest. Very cool stuff. Does Timmy have any more photos we've never seen? One last question, is it me or, does Gerry's head look like it's on someone else's body??

It has been about 18 hours or so since the Health Care vote and I have not heard a peep out of the Pea. Where are you at Pea? What does this Health Care Bill mean for us? Is it a good plan? Now that the health care bill has passed, will we figure out what it's about? Pea, fill me in on everything!
