A historian and attorney by training, Charleston has taught courses on gender studies at the University of Wisconsin, according to her Harvard bio, which describes her as "one of the nation's leading experts in diversity." The site says that her work involves "translating diversity and inclusion research into practice for students, staff, researchers, postdoctoral fellows and faculty of color."

The head of Harvard University's anti-Semitism task force backed out of a panel on anti-Semitism he was scheduled to participate in Sunday, citing an unwillingness to answer questions publicly "about goings on at Harvard."

Bears are very scary

If you're going to be hanging out by the bear's refrigerator, best bring some protection.  That wasn't a bear attack by the way.  He was just letting you know you're in his territory.  He could have closed that distance in seconds, and no amount of rocks would stop it.  You guys are lucky.

Winter birds

 It is never easy to herd birds, especially in the winter...

My normal feeders are snow covered & I'm too lazy to trek through the snow to fill them up

I do have a suet feeder up, but that's more of a woodpecker thing
