I'd rather be on the center island with Smitty. I tried that once...used him as an excuse. "I'll take Smitty out for a walk." and I got sidetracked playing football on the center island. Some time later, Dad pulled up and saw Smitty was tied to a tree. I think I was sheddin' all the would-be tacklers and scootin' down the sidelines and off to my right, I see a pale yellow Caprice sitting still on the blvd. I got a ride home with Dad. Smitty was in the back seat.
Now Blaze, you gotta be honest. I saw you scoot and if you were scooting down the sideline sheddin' tacklers you must have been on scooter with Smitty pulling you along. You were going nowhere with your speed. Remember, we once timed you with a sun-dial in the 100 meters.
Mitchell and Yunkel??? Is Mitchell the guy who is supposed to be investigating Barry Bonds?? He started that 3 years ago, I believe. He probably will finish 3 years after Bonds Retires. And Yunkel, isn't he the owner of the Red Sox, going way back to Ted Williams?? Just asking for the Whipper Snappers to get a history lesson.
I remember "Smitty From-a-Way-Back" was from Ogontz! One of Tommy Schaeffer's Boys...We named our "GAY DOG" after him! but I don't think Smitty from Ogontz was Gay...Now, Johnny Joyce from Ogontz may have been AC/DC, but he could really shinny a tree!!! I barely remember Yunkel...was he the old man wearing the Trench Coat?
How about if we have a major sporting event without Referees, Umpires, Judges or Stewards? I Love that a 65 to one shot did ...
