Confessions

Ever feel the need to come clean and confess something? You know, a public acknowledgement of some deep dark secret that bugs you. I do. Here goes, I finished the milk on "D" St. There I said it and damn I feel good. Everytime someone would open the fridge and say, "who finished the milk?" I felt guilty. Don't know WHY i felt guilty afterall somebody had to finish it. Even if I didn't finish it finish it I felt guilty. Like some infant would go to bed hungry because I had to have a bowl of cereal for breakfast. Tsk, Tsk, shame, shame. Same feeling I got the first time I saw the cracked Liberty Bell. I confessed to that too.

Honestly, were you the one who threw the pink paint all over Dad's Caprice? Come on....'fess up.

Just to set the record straight, the last Bogie's was ALWAYS a prune danish. Matter of fact, the $2.00 "Jack special" was usually all the leftover prune Danish....

The pink paint incident was a case of mistaken identity. The guy who owned the corner candy store had a car just like Dad's. He was also running around on his wife with another guy's wife. The husband of the little tart found out about it and trashed the candy store guy's car that was parked right outside the store on Rockland St. Unfortunately for Dad it was his car and not the store owner's look-a-like car that got painted.
