I am still waiting and hoping that the Sport Teams of Philadelphia will win one for the GPer. Shown here are some of Philadelphia's Phamous People...An Eagle, a Charlie, a Blaze, A 76er logo, a Phanatic and a Phillies Neon. Amazzingly, I could not find a Phlyer hockey photo to Post nor a photo of Dutch Dorno...

The Phils are coming up real small this week... Good ol' Brett Meyers gets in an argument with a reporter after giving up two home runs in the ninth. Mr. Temper calls the reporter a "retard" (a great come-back) and the reporter asks Meyers to spell "retard". Some real brain-teasin' conversation goin' on in that locker room. Only made better when Charlie the mgr. starts speakin' to the press...."ah, well, I guess our pitchin' is ah, well, I guess it is what it is. We gotta ah, well, come out and ah, well try to win tomorrow."

YO BLAZE... let's be positive about this. Meyers and Gordon are the CLOSERS for the Fightin's. Last evening they CLOSED OUT the season of 2007. Now we don't have to wonder about the fate of our Phils. We know the answer. Isn't that wnat closers are supposed to do. Close it out. Well done. With one more against the Padres and 4 against the Metropolitans, we can worry about the upcoming McK Bros night at Flourtown. No more baseball.

the "happy" caballero makes an excellent Point! Flash/Meyers are doing their best to "close" the Phillies season!
