Remember when Aunt Kate would call the House from her "switchboard" to talk to Mother and we would answer? I remember Aunt Kate getting angry because she had to interrupt the call to "flick a switch"! The two of them would talk a long time...on that Black Phone, in the corner of the Dining Room!
Anyway, wondering if anyone has recently called a "1- 800" number to Buy something..."Operators are standing by...and what did you Buy? Or do you do the E-Bay thing...
