The apostrophe-s ('s) shows Possession. If a word normally ends with an "s" just add the apostrophe after the final "s".
For example:
"Have you seen Gerry's wallet?"
"Have you seen Chris' wallet?"
I THINK this is right. At least it's how I've been using it all these years and look how wonderful I am! But hey, enough about me, what do YOU think of me??

Of course, let me continue. The apostrophe is also used when a contaction is needed. For example, it's (notice apostrophe separates it is) 27 years since the Phillies won a World Series. To complete, I have NEVER SEEN Gerry's wallet. I believe he doesn't (Notice apostrophe for contraction again) own one. 'Nuf Said?? (notice apostrophe in RAP music lyrics)
Shame on you, Gerald! ...and after all the special tutoring the Sisters did with you--tsk, tsk!
NEITHER of your examples is correct: The CORRECT example should have been "GERALD PEA'S BLOG GETS(no ' needed) ON MY NERVES". I just may have to "come back" to refresh your grammar/punctuation usage memory, Dear.
