Might I ask why the rest of the family was not asked to participate?? I am a professional prognosticator of "The sport of Kings" I even have niece in A'Town who is rather proficient in the stirrups. Unfortunately, Pea never rode many winners in his career. I hope he picks better than he rides.

I picked 8-Belles because she was the only Filly in the race. Speaking of luck... what a shame.
I saw in the paper this morning that the organization for the prevention of cruelty to animals wants her jockey suspended. They say he must have know something was wrong earlier in the race. Ahmmmmm, if a horse (or ANYTHING) breaks TWO ANKLES, I don't think they could keep running. No matter HOW tough they are!!! The trainer said the horse looked very happy after the finish line, ears up and high-fivin'...what a shame.
