I saw this on the Web...I always thought Scotland was its own Country, I guess I was wrong?

what do I know but, the legend I've heard is that Dad's side was Scottish and Mother's side Italian. Is that right? Does that explain my olive skin??
After Oliver Cromwell slaughterd half of the Irish with his invasion the Brits forced Scottish Prebyterians to relocate to Ireland. Gave them plenty of land and told them to propogate. Every person I've met in Ireland says McKendry is Scottish origin and there are McKendrys in Belfast, the Prod city.
Leave it to McKendrys to be given free land, made part of the majority because we were Prods and then some ancestor got the bright idea to give it all up.
