How could I forget since I was in charge of the reservations and when we went to check in and the manager said, "Oh, McKendry....those reservations were cancelled by a John McKendry...then all eyes were on me and I could have died - especially since I was the newest member of the clan and trying to make a good impression. I haven't spoken to John since!
What a great trip, though, wasn't it!!! And for those of you who don't recognize that picture on this blog, it is none other than Pea himself, the day we took the "yacht" out.

I am periodically reminded of that sailing trip by my dear wife. We all, except for one blonde, attentively listened to the captain give a few instructions about the sail boom swinging port to starboard etc. He instructed everyone to duck when he yelled whatever the instruction was. Very first time he yells after we set sail everyone but the young talkative blonde ducks. WHACK THUD in the head and blondie goes down for the count. For some strange reason that I still haven't discovered I found that funny. Blonde girl didn't and to this day my insensitivity is brought up every now and then. Shiver me timbers I guess!
Yo... Weirdos!! Was this another FAMILY trip that failed to get publicized west of Lancaster?? I'm starting to get a complex about this.
I know that the Caballero and his Senorita were invited on this get-away. I believe, Now, that they could not attend because of a Bull Fighting scandal involving the Caballero & the Bermuda Authorities...
