Do you know anything about wine?

Susan and I were just in San Francisco and we spent a couple of days in Santa Rosa, CA - wine country. We visited our first winery. Some were fancy, some were in a barn. I also did my first wine tasting, made me realize I don't know a thing about wine. Do you know anything about wine? Do you care?

We once received towels as a Gift and they had the Initials "YSL" on them and I got angry. I thought we were getting towels with the wrong Initials on them. Thought the people that gave them to us were "Re-gifting".

I have seen Wind Mill Farms in California and I thought they were Picturesque.

• But do they work?

• T.Boone says from NW Texas to the Canadian Border, we are the Saudi Arabia of Wind Power
• I read that a Wind Farm out West got such unexpected gusts of wind that produced so much energy that they had to shut down the Power Grid or it would have overloaded !

While in California, we saw the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier. A Huge Ship. We were wondering how many planes an aircraft carrier carried. I said probably 200 Sam said not even 100

Gerald Pea in LA

I had the pleasure of traveling to LA with Gerald Pea. I thought I'd post a couple of photos. It was a life memory walking with GP, Kelly, Justin, Amanda, and Luke on The Strand at Manhattan Beach. Justin ran the entire way back - had to be a mile. GP walked the whole distance too. I think the Pacific air and the active atmosphere had him feeling 60 again!
