Good question. I was wondering the same thing myself...
they can't afford matching shirts.?they get mixed up on which color they're supposed to wear?they get to pick their own color?they do it to give people something to talk about?

Why is there one player on each Team that wears a different color Shirt?
How about if we have a major sporting event without Referees, Umpires, Judges or Stewards? I Love that a 65 to one shot did ...
