Jason and his Dad were at the Miss Avalon dock at 7:26 AM ready to Board the Boat for the 8AM "Gpeablog Deep Sea Fishing Adventure". Lo and behold no-one else showed up...
So...we ventured out on the 15 foot Boston Whaler "Old Crow"...
Fishing Report Card:
- 8 Flounder caught that had to be tossed back (flounder season is over)
- 22 Snapping Blues caught (thrown back cause they were not Snapping)
- 13 Stripers caught (thrown back because they didn't have enough Stripes)
- 14 Crabs caught in our crab traps (too crabby, tossed back)
- Coast Guard boat tried to "caught" us Misbehaving (they were tossed back when we had the Requsite Life Jackets and No Alcohol on Board)

You guys must not have been out long. How come so few fish?? I know for a fact they are ususally "jumping" into the boat this time of year. Oh, well... try again next month!!
poor little fishies...just swimmin' around, minding their own business, and some joker drops a hook in the water and teases the little fishy with some bait. Why is this considered 'sport'? If you don't NEED the fish to survive, why is it fun to pull them from their world just so we can add it to the list? The boat ride is fun enough, leave the little critters alone. Now, dear hunting...that's a REAL sport!!!!
Obviously, "Ted" is a non-swimmer afraid of boats & competition!
Pam
Me and Danny waited for 4hours on the dock in Sea Isle...raft and all .. thought we were goin' "snorkel diving!"
