Oh, there were SO MANY memorable Halloween outfits...where do I begin?
Well, my first experience with a hoop skirt was when I wore one over a long, black velvet number with playing cards attached all over the skirt...I think I was the Queen of Hearts that year. Then, there was the time I was Little Bo Peep--complete with cute bonnet worn upon my curly head, and I remember carrying a long staff (actually, a cane w/cut-off broom handle attached to the bottom) it had a beautiful, large bow tied @ the top.
ANOTHER memorable Halloween outfit was designed and hand-crafted by Halloween-loving Mother: she was SO happy with it & proud of her work. Sorry, I can't quite remember just "what" the outfit was. You can ask John, though; it was HIS costume. Too bad nobody ever saw it! As I was leaving to go out trick-or-treating with my friends, my memory is of Mother TRYING to coax him off the steps!! I seem to remember some crying going on (& it wasn't the mother). Who would know that this would be the guy to invite a CLOWN to a picnic???
My favorite Halloween costume was as a "HOBO". Wore it 23 straight years until I got arrested for loitering in front of Marty's. Use to put on the ashes from the burnt cork, too.
Deja View all over the place...7th Grade Halloween Party, what to wear? Mother puts an oversize Sport Coat on me with Playng Cards attached and smoked something off the stove and covered my face and hands with it! I WON the Best Costume Prize! (early confession, before the booth opened to the Public)

What was your most memorable halloween outfit? I remember the Zorro costumes Mother whipped up from some sheets she dyed black.
Who is that insane redheaded woman smashing pumpkins in the last photo??? You can tell she doesn't have kids.

Okay, that person is too thin to be me. It is MEGHAN! Plus, I wasn't here this time last year. They don't have pumpkin patches in Las Vegas.
