Lets Go Red Sox!!!

Not that I like the Red Sox, I just don't want to have another Phillies World Series played in a dome and on artificial turf... Remember 1993? The Sky Dome, Toronto? It sucked! Baseball should not be played on Astro Turf and in a Dome. What about the elements? Wind, rain, cold temperatures otherwise known as October Baseball! Boston Red Sox or Tampa Bay Rays. On one hand we have one of the most historic baseball teams ever, Fenway Park, “The Belly”, “Pesky’s Pole”, “Fisk Foul Pole”, “The Green Monster” and “Williamsburg”. Tampa Bay brings us, ugggh, Tropicana Field… Yeah! Catwalks, bullpens exposed on the sides and a ceiling which reminds me of an overcast day in March. When the Phillies win to get to the World Series, could you have picked a worse place to play or what? Red Sox are down 3-1 but I am rooting for a comeback. Lets Go Sox!

asthetically, Boston would be better, historically, the Rays would be easier. Where is PETA? they keep fish in a Tank in the outfield so little kids can "tap on the glass" like at a pet store!

I can't stand the Red Sox but I'd rather beat up on them than have those young home run hitters in our park. Plus I'd love to see the Nation folks cry.

Is it the "everybody hates us" Philly fan in me or am I right when I think McCarver and Buck are pained that the Dodgers aren't winning? They barely mentioned, if at all, the Phils coming from 2 1/2 games back to beat the Mets, 85 - 0 when winning after 8, they have mentioned Lidge's record (usually at jinx 'em time), the pre-game idiot Mark Grace said "the fans throw things at you in Philly" haven't talked much about Manuel and Victorino losing their mother and grandmother without effecting either of them, Cole Hamels is burying the Dodgers and if he were in blue or pin stripes they'd be Hall of Fameing him to death, all the clutch hits, but they do mention the lousy averages, and on and on.

Great article the other day on philly.com about the misfits on the Phils and the improbable path a lot of them took to get to the big leagues. No mention of that.

Why don't they put a member of the Phils broadcast crew in the booth like they did years ago?

ESPN Kornheiser and Wilbon were saying yesterday how much the networks were pulling for a Red Sox vs Dodgers series. That ain't happening!!!

GAME OVER PHILS TO THE SERIES!!!!!

very good Slim. I agree completely. We move on to the World Series. I'm sure FOX network is probably considering alternative programming since it looks like the Phillies vs. Rays in the World Series. The rest of the country probably couldn't care less. Too bad.

I never realized how ugly Orange Juice could look! Tropicana, cana, cana, cannot Field looks like a Factory. And from the performance of the Rays, so far, I think the Devil is still in them! Are the Young Ray Stars "Factory Produced"?!?
...it is Halloween Season...
