Happy Birthday, Dennis !
31 years ago today, Dennis was born! About five hours after he was born and named, the Dad took his Big Brother (age4) to see him. "What's his name?" the Big Brother asked. "Dennis" said the Dad, do you like it? "No" said the Big Brother. So, the Big Brother and the Dad changed his name to Jason. Then we had to go tell Dennis' Mom.

I never heard that story before! Interesting...either name suits him, though I've always loved "Jason". Does "Jason" have a MIDDLE NAME? Is it "Dennis"? Jus' wonderin', Pea.
Let me add our "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" wishes to the list of well-wishers. Love you, Jason!

Happy Birthday Jason and Happy New Year too! NOW GO EAGLES!!!
Jason's middle name is Peter, like his Dad, he is also a Pea. I tell them both they are lucky I did not name them Gerry Junior!
Happy Birthday, Jaden (the combo version, sort of like brangelina.....hollywood style!
Eduardo and Susan
P. S. Gerald - so are we to bring white elephants to Oreland or not? I'm sort of hoping we would....
us, too!
What's wrong with "Gerry/Gerald"? Your Mother loved that name; that's why she picked it for her Confirmation name = "Geraldine". She must have felt very close to you to give you one of "her" names; or, if that's how she was thinking, she COULD have named you "maryon" or "francis" or "micky"...NOW, which one do you prefer?
God love her!

I think "Dutch" would have been a good name. This kid's got Moxie!!
I think Gerald is a STRONG name, as my Sis has told me often! I think a Male name that ends with an "ie or y" is Not. For example, Johnny, Gerry, Mikey, Timmy, Eddie, Paulie. So, I want to be referred to as Gerald from now on !
I too had another first name for a time. Phillip. Phil McKendry was my name, according to Mother. She named me after her father Phillip McDermott. A nurse walked in asked Mother if she had a name yet, she replied, Phillip, Nurse replied, "such an old man name for a new baby." Thus he shall be named Timothy. Meaning, "one who has many daughters and no money."
