the cat email is serious! My co-irker sends them to me every holiday. One of her cats even shares it's name with her boyfriend! I am told the cat came first.

Ugh! CATS!! Don't like 'em; never did.

Did I ever tell you about the time when Pea was stationed @ New Cumberland Army Depot & a friend asked him to "cat-sit" his prized Siamese for a weekend? As I recall, the Pea had some hot date & asked if we would mind keeping the cat @ our house. I don't remember answering him; however,
the "no trouble @ all" cat showed up & turned out to be the nastiest, scariest, ugliest thing I've ever had in our home. Everytime I turned around, the stupid cat was there to spook me! Hate those creatures!!! I'll never get what "cat lovers" see in them!

By the way, Pea: you owe me for that one!

Never one to discredit a sister BUT as I recall dear sister you never came within 15 feet of that cat. As a matter of fact, your affection for domesticated pets reputation is miserably lacking. Case in point; Smitty #1 - 10 days in our house, caused a runner in your nylons; dog gone. Smitty #2, breathed too heavily for your comfort, dog gone. Smitty #3, had 2 eyes when I got him, now 1 after your first visit, hmmmmm anyone else see a pattern here?

not to mention, my Big sister met Coco once! It was about nine years ago. As all dogs do, Coco barked at her upon her arrival. We did have the Obligatory Red Carpet laid out for the arrival of Big Sis, but even that did not alter her mood regarding our precious pet! She looked at me and said, "how old is IT?" I said she's two...and Sis said..."she needs to get over it?" Whatever that means!
Thankfully, sis turned out to be much more tolerant of "rug rats" than animals !

...and, I wonder:
Why did God EVER create those 4-legged creatures, ANYWAY??? They don't contribute to society, except to "fertilize" & "FUR-tilize".
