This writer must be some "hippie" from the left coast. Doesn't he understand this is about the kids feelin' good about themselves. he's probably 90 years old and never had kids himself. Jeez!!

What about going 0-21 makes a kid feel good about themselves? Some kids are made for the Debate Team, some kids are made to play Varsity sports.

Nice to see that the racial quota problem at GA has been resolved. (see the abridged article above Sam's)

The AD resolved it himself by finding some needy minority students and integrating them into the academic setting at GA. Who knew that they were all over 6'5", could jump out of their shorts, would eventually make it to the NBA, and make an old Inky (Incarnation) boy a coaching legend?

Glad to see GA didn't resort to abusing minorities to solve their racial quota problems.

That's the Quakers for ya.

I'm glad I got to play before all this angst about winning and losing kicked in at GA. Our teams were consistently mediocre and I was right there with them. Other than an 8-0 senior year in football, our basketball programs thrived with 6'3" centers and 5'8" guards. I wouldn't make the team today. Great article,Sam.
