I been everywhere man, I been everywhere...done some hard travellin', down the byways and hiways, Rt.66 and every onehorse town and drivin' the backroads so I wouldn't get weighed... Winslow Arizona too, Wichita Lineman, Margaritaville, and of course Chicago, that toddlin' town!
Took up residence in the state of Poverty about 40 years ago and I haven't left there since. Like to go to the state of Euphoria; heard it was nice. Not as nice as the state of Mind, lotta smart people there, I'm told. If I had the time I'd go to State U. Had a niece that went there, she seems smart enough, though she did marry a coach. Musta been in the state of Confusion when she did.
I have been to 30 of our fabulous 50. I've lived in 8 states--Indiana, New Jersey, Maryland, California, Virginia, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut.
