It is February and most people feel Stifled.

February, Saturday Night...do you ask yourself,

  • What is everyone else doing?
  • Why don't I/We have something to do?
  • I/We should be doing Something! It's Saturday Night!
  • People are so much busier than I am.

I ask, why did they put that "r" after the "b" in February.

Who says FebRuary?

Although my least favorite Month is April...

OK, what's everybody doing? Susan and I went to the Flyers/Penguins game today - (her coworker's husband had pneumonia so they couldn't go...we paid for the tix), Flyers lost a heartbreaker. Very cool to see a game in-person again.
Came home fell asleep on the couch, then played some music in the cellar. It's hard to keep this pace.
Went to Cape Cod last weekend to visit Anna. There, now you know what we've been up to. How about you??

Glad you asked...the Wife and myself also went to the Flyers game, after we went to the 76ers game. We followed that up by accepting an Invitation from a Friend of mine to join them for Dinner @ Le' Bec Fin...it was a Party of nine. From there we took a Cab home, watched a Movie on our Wide Screen TV, took a nap and played Canasta with the neighbors...another Boring Day!

Aahhh...February! The month of SO MANY "Presidents' Day(s) Sales": furniture, bedding, babies stuff, linens; the list goes on & on.

I LOVE February, Pea! As a matter of fact: I can't think of a month that I DON'T love!!

I love February so much that we picked this month to re-do our sorely-neglected-for-many-years bedroom. Two wks. ago, we painted ceiling, walls & trim. Last Saturday, shopped for & picked out new carpeting; so, yesterday, I made arrangements to have it installed this Tuesday a.m. Then, I went out & ordered new mattre$$/box $pring($) for our king-$ize bed-- why do those things cost so much?

At 2:00 arrived at a baby shower for a friend's daughter-in-law. Lots of nice friends/nice gifts/nice food/nice wine.

Home @ 6:00-ish to meet baby Aiden, who spent the night w/nanny & poppy. N.B.-- said grandson went to bed @ 8:00 p.m./woke @ 11:20 p.m./ stayed awake for 1+ hrs./back to sleep @ 12:45/awoke again @ 4:10/back to sleep @ 4:40/awoke for "breakfast" @ 9:00.

This morning, we are headed to Mass @ 11:15 & then meeting Susan, Calvin & Mary for lunch (Sunday tradition).

This afternoon, I'll be helping Susan w/a project for school.

"...feel stifled"? Not me!

Keep on ticking, everybody!

I gave the dog insulin shots twice today, went to the gym, only to be looked at weird because I am the only one who sweats (at the gym, frickin' yuppies), I watched a washed up A.I. get smoked by Labron, stubbed my big toe, checked email 1000 times, saved a kid from a oncoming bus, cured cancer and discovered who killed J.F.K...

No playoff H>S> games to attend either today...very unusual sat. Days like this make me want to clean my apt......uh nah...next yr. Well gotta get going...talk to ya on monday.
