I was watching TV & they said the 35th Anniversary of Blazing Saddles would be on this weekend
- I immediately thought 35 years ago was the 80's
- I re calibrated, it was the 70's
- Time sure does Fly, doesn't it?
When will the Young and Creative Minds in Hollywood do a remake of this ?
...or has it already been done?

I've never seen the movie. I was studying during those yrs. I'll have to catch at the senior center.
Mel Brooks, funny guy...was Blazing Saddles a Gay Film ?
this movie is an absolute classic for Mel Brooks. But, be aware that a movie like this could not be made today - it is REALLY politically incorrect. "Diversity" proponents would burst into flames with the plot of this movie...a small Western, cowboy town gets a new sheriff. When the town turns out to meet him, they realize, "the sheriffs a ni__er" (a line from the movie). The movie doesn't stop there, it makes fun of every nationality it sees. Great stuff.
