I asked if anyone knew Brian Tierney in the last Survey, 2 responses. Brian owns the Inquire & Daily News, which are now in Bankruptcy. He bought it about 3or4 years ago. I think it was about $250million he and his "friends" put up and that was just the Down Payment! Pat Croce was one of them you may recognize...other Local, Prominent people were also coerced to join ! The Inquirer hailed them as "Life Savers for the Community" I reviewed Brian's Google page and read it twice. I still don't know how he made a Gazillion Dollars!
- Now, I am no Warren Buffet (& he had his own problems in 2008) but, I said at the time of the Buy "why would they do this"? They are buying a Sinking Ship!
- This "investment" will cost these people Major Bucks! They were individuals that made an investment that has not turned out too well. They can probably afford the loss and get a write-off on their Taxes. But it will still cost them.
- Meanwhile, in Washington, the President and Congress are making Investments and Rolling the Dice that $3.7trillion in spending in the next year will Help us All.
- "Life Savers for America"
- If the President and Congress are wrong, they Lose Nothing! They jumped on the Gravy Train when we elected them.
- They are Free to Gamble with House/Senate Money!
- I Hope they Win!
- Then we Win! we, the tax payers, being the providers of The House/Senate Money.
- This is not a Democrat/Republican thing. This is Serious stuff that is now happening in DC

NO POLITICS! But, I agree, when they purchased the papers I said there must be something I don't know...newspapers across the country are all sinking. These guys aren't dumb and are rich, so I keep waiting to see their secret revealed cause you and I and many others knew it was a poor investment. What do I NO???
There will always be a need for newpapers in this country..these guys knew what they were doing..afterall, doggies gotta poop, fish garbage has to be wrapped and a man has to read while he poops!
