Back in the 50's and 60's, when Dutch, Stoneman and Pea Dominated "Family Sports" there were very few "colored people" in our Sports World. I remember a game we were preparing for where the opposing team consisted of "colored kids" and our Coach told us..."once you get a big lead on these "colored kids" they Give Up"! True story...
Amazing stuff when you consider where you've been and where you are this Day!
A footnote... (Ahemmm) we did win the game cause the pea scored 37 vs the "colored kids" at Belmont Playground! We won by one...the "colored kids" would Not give up!!!!

did Alyce really write that? No. It was Eddie
can you prove the 37 points? I think you told that story twenty years ago and it was 17 points...
if i was "D-ing" you up, you wouldn't have had ANY points. Those "colored" kids didn't play any defense!
Sometimes when I get on this blog I can't believe what I hear, what planet are they from, I'm confused and shocked and none of it makes sense and I don't understand and Blah,Blah, Blah...
Notice: I am being misrepresented by racists and slanderers on this blog. I had nada to do with anything written here. Some biased thinkers are using my good name. All I want to say is I saw Adolph Rupp and the Kentucky Wildcats play Temple U./Harry 'the Chief' Litwack at the palestra. Cotton Nash lit up the Owls for about 25 but I don't remember who won. Rupp was not a nice man!!!!!
