Stimulus plan: Spend now, details later (promise) (click to read)
Someone out there (I think it was YOYO STIMULUS) asked for "more politics" so:
- Imagine you win $5 Million in the Lottery
- Rules say you must spend it all in the next 12 months
- Rules also say you must present a Plan to the Lottery Board
- Detailing what you will spend the $5Million on
- "After" you have the $5million!
Think you could do that ???

If you have the answers, you should speak up because all the brilliant minds and political experts are just banging into each other, saying the other's ideas won't work, and we're left making no progress.
I'm really tired of ALL the experts on TV, Internet, blogs, etc. - I don't think ANYONE really knows how to get out of this.

interesting idea but does that mean the entire system collapses? how long does that take and what is the real impact, not just in the USofA but around the world. It seems that the entire world is so intertwined that the world economies would just stop...not far from where we are now, I guess.

If the guvment would just pass out "bickets" to everyone instead of newly printed $ bills the World may get thru this mess a lot quicker! "We are a nation of whiners"... a Phil Graham quote during the campaign for which he and John McCain were castigated...
S. Palin should have been castigated for shooting the wolves from a helicopter!!! Real sportsmen hunt for game while knowing the game have a weapon too. Beyond that I think "free bickets" for all is an excellent concept for this nation of wieners.
i am visiting the comments here late. But! Stonemans' remark dissing Sarah Palin tees me off. When they shoot wolves from a helicopter in Alaska there is a reason for it and it is Licensed by the Govment. Sorta like when Sharpshooters go into Fairmount Park every few years to cull the herd and shoot dear at night. In Fairmount Park it's for convenience sake...in Alaska it's for food.
