How about if we have a major sporting event without Referees, Umpires, Judges or Stewards? I Love that a 65 to one shot did ...

From one baseball guy to another...HomeRun records were made to be broken...congratulations young Paul! I know you love the game too, just be sure to leave me at least one record.."most homeruns by a switch-hitter", in the family archives!! What position do you play Paul? Please don't tell me it's the "HOT CORNER"...actually, I hope it is...Play Ball Paul!! Greatest Game on Earth!! Way to go Pal!
WAy to go Paul!!!!!!!!!!!!
Paul...just remember to keep that left shoulder in and attack on a downward plane. That way the rotation of the ball, after being struck with a quick and aggressive effort, will travel at a rate of speed sufficient to reach the further limits of the stadium in which the particular contest is being held. Research has proven the rotation, caused by the downward strike, provides an undercurrent suficient to lift the ball onto a comet like pad of air so that it travels beyond your inherent strength, .....but who the hell cares. Just swing from your heels. If you can keep your eyes open, even better. I never could manage the two efforts, ie., swing and keep eyes open. Ergo, no hits, no runs for a CAREER in hardball. Softball is a whole different story altogether. Way to go Young Paul....you're a great athlete just like Nanny was...
Thanks for the nice comments about Paul C.
BUT, WAIT! tell us: who is the new "girl of Jason's dreams"?
Congratulations Christopher --AND to Dad & Mom!--another milestone!
Nicole: Congratulations! Your Coach must be SO PROUD!
Michael: "YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!"
Tim: Congratulations on the Big Bust! It's good to know you've still got it!!!
So many Proud McKendry Moments(PMcKM)...and to think: May's not even half over! One can only imagine what the rest of the month will bring...
Oh, yeah! LET US NOT FORGET THE 2 IMPORTANT B'DAYS COMING UP! (the card's in the mail)
OOPS! Forgot one:
Judith Ann: I understand Paula Deen is looking for an Phila. Assistant. I think you can handle it, y'all!
Congrats to young Paul. Remember, the long ball hitters make the big bucks, keep doing what you're doing.
We made it back from Ohio last night but the plot thickens. I had TWO van reservations fall thru on me last weekend. One, they didn't have a cargo van available. Two, they were giving me an SUV - wouldn't work. So...I'll get to drive to Delaware, Ohio again this week to pick up the masterpieces.
Oh yes, on the ride out Chris called us to say that the registrar's office called him to say that he was one grade short, his teacher hadn't turned it in! Suddenly, Susan and I didn't speak to each other for about an hour - I was contemplating how to approach the teacher. It all got straightened out in the end and he really graduated. A great day.
That's when you grab that stinkin' teacher by the neck and give them the stare...
I had a couple teachers try to withold grades from me in college. Said they were ashamed that anyone would discover I was even in their class!
Blaze/SKY...I suggest you get the Art Work Shipped to you by UPS...probably more convenient and Less Expensive in the Long Run! Then reimburse yourselves with Christopher's first Post-College check!
who is the girl of Jason's dreams!???
My dad is making things up because he is stuck in his basement, sucking on cancer sticks, playing Spades, reading about the Democrats and has nothing better to do. No, I have not met the girl of my dreams. On the other hand, I am in a shore house with 12 girls so...
Uh, Jason, my favorite godson....uh, doya think there might be room for one more dashing male in your shore house. I was thinking maybe I could sleep on the floor and maybe be available when the mothers, or grandmothers come to visit....you know, food conversation or story telling. Let me know if a vacancy pops up....
