Another first for the youngest, my first root canal awaits me next week. Now i know what tooth pain is like. My new friend, Vicodin, is getting me through the weekend. I'm sure there are some root canal stories in this family, come on, let's hear 'em.

What's with the Vicadin? A six pack of Yuengling Lager costs less and makes you feel better. Geez! Of course, medicinal purposes only.
Been there...ya feel me? No big thang, coupl'a shots to numb the region, rubber guard to protect the throat, badabing, over in 45 minutes...mustahad halfdozen in my time dog...very much overated in the pain department...Word! ..course I was drunk,drugged and slept for a week aterwords...na, just yankinya dogg!!
1997 Detroit Michigan, cold fall night, foggy, throbbing toothache. Went to the dentist in MI, since my transfer hadn't taken official status yet, I had out of town insurance.
Dentist says ROOT CANAL CA$H $375! I say Calvert $5.95
Go to Meijers, MI equivalent of Wal Mart, buy a bottle of cheap whiskey go back to my room in the No Tell Motel and keep soaking the tooth until the tooth, jaw, lips and tongue are numb. Fall asleep.
12 years later still no pain.

All I know is Mary Frances gave you whiskey on the gums when you were wailing in the year those same teeth were comin' in. If something is good enough for Mary Fran it's good enough for me.....and, it makes ya happy!!!!!!
It appears to me that the GPEA has a problem with his mechanism. There have been no posts in 4 days. Can you stand the silence? C'mon Pea, get with it!!
