The only Triple Play I have witnessed was "The Cookers'"...

...shot off of Kenny Alford! Kenny was the most Feared Pitcher in the League...
  • He was a Lefthander with a 99MPH Fastball
  • He was also "epileptic"
So when he pitched he would sometimes have "Fits"...poor guy
  • I was on second base, Joe Latrichiano on first
  • Dutch Dornish (my sis' boyfriend was coaching @ 3rd)
  • Eddie was the Bat-boy
  • John was away at College
  • Timmy was laying concrete...
  • Alyce was being Robbed @ her job as a Cashier on Broad Street...anyway,
Cooker takes Kenny "DOWNTOWN " on an inside Fastball! It was Out-a-here! Kenny was so surprised...
  • ...he goes into a "Fit"
  • I am rounding 3rd Base when I see my 3rd Base Coach running to the Pitchers Mound to help Kenny
I am 13, I am confused...I follow my Coach to the Mound, Joe Latrichiano does the same...
  • someone put a pencil between Kenny's teeth & he was OK...
Meanwhile, Cooker was rounding the Bases Exhalting in his "Shot" that richocheted off of the "EL" that was passing by, 435 feet from Home Plate & 63 feet in the air...
  • Bottom Line....?
Joe Latriciano and myself were called OUT for going out of the Base Path...
  • The Cooker was called out for passing us on the Base Path...
TRIPLE PLAY...

And the 3rd base coach fainted. We had to call an ambulance to get him outta there!!

What motivates people to do this stuff?
