To Pause or not to Pause, that is the Question...

Do you have the capability to Pause a Show, go to the "Catroom", change clothes, save the World and return to the Show you were watching prior to the Cat Signal going off? In other words, do you have TIVO or a Facsimile thereof? or do you still watch TV thru Basic Cable, which used to be referred to as "Rabbit Ears"? Cat Woman Pauses...

Not only do I have a DVR, I very rarely ever watch live television. Way too many commercials, way too little time to spare. Well worth the monthly fee!

we do not have any technology fitting this description. I guess we're backwards up here in A-town...

It's shocking to me that the older generation does not embrace technology. It's here to make things easier! Ipod, DVR, GPS, Cut Copy & Paste, MP3, DVD, onDemand, TIVO, YoYoMa, Email, Internet, Cable TV/Internet, Wireless Ear Piece, Cell Phone, Iphone, Google, Google Maps Street View... The list goes on...

It's simple economics my friend..the older generation is able to resist the temptation to spend hundreds of dollars a month or more..on these toys, when all they want to do is get to retirement and live debt free (or a facsimile thereof)..unlike the younger gen., who believe debt is something you "leave behind" when you die! Why wait when you can have it "all" right now! Just "charge it"...Although I do love the large flat screen tv's hangin on the wall at world series time!! ...One man's opinion y'all.
