Timber!!!

When is the correct time to take down your Christmas tree? On "D" St. it stayed up until after January 6th, feast of the Epiphany, when traditionally the Magi arrived. The Eastern Rite of the Church celebrates Christmas on Jan 6th. Following Al Gore's lead we recycle our tree. Last year we used it to make salad spoons. This year we're building a 7 foot drawer to hold last year's 7 foot spoons. Another Tip from Tim!

Slim, this is toooo easy. I simply wait until the "Little Lady" has screamed at me 4 times before putting that little chore on my To Do list. Usually occurs during the week before the Super Bowl. No games on that day!

We bought our tree on Fri, 12/18, a cold & blustery day! Walked on the lot & I said, "howabout this one?" Judy Ann says "OK we'll take it" and runs back to the Jeep cause she was Freezing. Put it up on the 20th and it was "Out-a-here" on the 26th! That SOB shed worse than 10 Cocos' in July! Felt like our living room was a Pine Forest. JA admits it was her fault , that she should have worn something warmer & put the Hood up on her winter coat...UGH...
