Cooker & the Pea leave from Philadelphia and head West on the Pa Turnpike to Carlisle, Rt 81 South...
- that will take us to Route 40 & into Nashville, where we will perform on the Street in something called "Bashkin"?
- From Nashville we head to Memphis & Tour Graceland, where Cooker has been invited to Entertain.
- From Memphis we cross thru Arkansas, which is not even pictured on the Map, but while passing thru we will visit the "Bill Clinton Library & Massage Parlor"!
- After traversing the Texas Panhandle, still on Route 40, we will arrive in Santa Fe New Mexico, a very Windy place.
- From there it is onto Flagstaff, Az. if we go North for two hours we can view the Grand Canyon, if we go South, on Route 17, to Phoenix we are following our Route...
- Should we go North or South here ?
- Once in Phoenix, we make a right hand turn on Route 10 which will take us to Indio, Ca.
- After Indio, we take a two hour drive on Route 10 to Redondo Beach, Ca...just South of L.A.
If we time it right we will be at Justin's 1PM Saturday Basketball practice...
- PS, should we make a Pitcher of High-balls, along with a tray of cheese and crackers for the Ride???

Pea, a pither of high balls would be good for you. Please tell... what will "cooker" drink. The cheese in a can would work well for each of you and you will be constipated when you reach Indio. When you reach the Carlisle exit to pick up Route 81, Please call your sister and invite her to lunch. (She is only ten miles from that exit) It's been a long time since she has eaten out!!
Hey Cooker Pea!
..............................
I was totin' my pack along the long dusty Winnemucca road,
When along came a semi with a high an' canvas-covered load.
"If you're goin' to Winnemucca, Mack, with me you can ride."
And so I climbed into the cab and then I settled down inside.
He asked me if I'd seen a road with so much dust and sand.
And I said, "Listen, I've traveled every road in this here land!"
[Chorus:]
I've been everywhere, man.
I've been everywhere, man.
Crossed the desert's bare, man.

You need to read Steinbeck's
"Travels With Charley" before you go.
Check out the Diners, Dives & Drive Ins website too.
If you Really want a good trip wait for June and I'll go!!!
To answer your question, "Should we go North or South", or was it Left or Right, whatever; go both directions, the two of you will never be at that junction again.
Read Robert Frost's "The Road Not Taken ".....I chose the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference."
I hope the first to things you pack are 1- digital camera with extra memory 2- HD Flip video camera $204.00.
I can see it now "The Pucketts Redux"
I say take the shortest route. I've got maniacs here...and we need your help! Also, it's Justin's GAME -we're not just "talking about practice!" I'll take care of you guys!
