These Things Really Annoy Me...

I need to rant for a minute or two… There are a few things I can’t stand in this world. I’ve often wondered “Am I the only one who is annoyed by this?” So, I’ve listed five of them. For some examples, The Pea and I went out and snapped some action pictures. If one of these rants describes you? Ooops! Nothing personal… Rant on yourself!

Other then this post, what annoys you?

People who talk on the cell phone while at the gym: I can’t stand this! Are you that important that you need to be available at all times during the day? Sometimes I even see people talking on their cell phone while running on the treadmill? News Flash: You’re not that important! Get off the cell phone!

People who talk on a handheld cell phone while driving: I admit, I used to do this a few years ago. I thought this was normal. Then one day I was driving and I hung up. I realized I had no memory of the past five minutes. I guarantee you this, the next time you are behind a really slow driver who seems to be out of it, pass them and look to see if they are talking on the cell phone. I’d say it’s the case about 75% of the time. Thank god PA is making it a law to ban using a hand held cell phone while driving.

People who run in place while waiting for the stop light to turn green: I can’t stand this! This one really annoys me. No, you’re not Kid Casino, stop hopping up and down. Now, if they were using the curb to stretch, that’s another thing. Stretching is good.

Facebook/Twitter updates and the entire “Whoa is me…” attitude: This is a relatively new one and the older generation may not know what I am talking about. Why does a “Facebook/Twitter” user feel the need to update everyone on everything they are doing? 99% of everyone updating their Facebook status is complaining about something. And no, I don’t care that you are doing laundry or you have a sore throat. Get over yourself and deal with it.

People who don’t move out of the way while walking on the sidewalk: This one has annoyed me for a while. Get the hell out of the way! I always make room. I don’t know if people are looking for a fight or what. Test this out. The next time you are walking on a sidewalk, see how many people move to the side.

After close self-examination...I must honestly admit, none of these examples apply to me. But for another opinion, you can ask my wife, she'll list a few of my "quirks" for ya...that get on her "last nerve"...good food for thought Jaybird!

I've never jogged on a tread mill, i have a cell phone but noone ever calls me, I don't jog. I don't have a twitter/facebook account and people DO Step aside when I approach cause they know, "if the Left one don't get you then the Right one will!" Guess I'm boring.

Hit the nail on the head there lil Pea. Add to the list 1-people who CONSTANTLY text; they give you that head nod like they're lstening while they text next to their hip or under the table. Grrrrrr 2-teenagers who feel "disrespected". You're 15 kid what the hell have you done to EARN respect? 3-Entertainment Tonight, People magazine, etc. WHO CARES what celebrities wore to grocery shop!!!

I could go on but you get the point.

PS Question posed by son-in-law,
"what's the over/under on the number of times Pea"s head has been photoshoped on to something?
