Hurling while Curling

I'll say right up front; I'm not a winter Olympics fan. I skied twice in my life in high school. First time I liked it. Second time I had a date, more like a stalker, since I didn't know she was going to be there and didn't have as much fun since the snow bunny didn't ski but looked sooo cute in her fashionista outfit that I married her. Not that day, a few days later .

• Closest or is it closeist or closeest I ever came to a luge was a spectacular spin out on the PA Turnpike a few years back

1. Snowboarding; nope.
2. Hockey; nope.
3. Cross country skiing while shooting things; ummmmm don't think so.
4. Men's (I use that term loosely) Figure skating while wearing spandex,feathers and fur; NO COMMENT.

Curling??? to borrow a phrase from that great Philosopher Allen Iverson, "Curling? Curling?" Who made that a sport? Put them in their correct uniform, sear sucker shorts pulled up to their chest, plaid shirt, blue knee socks, white belt and black oxford dress shoes. Play it in a retirement village in Florida and call it SHUFFLEBOARD. I work with a Swede and he said, "Nobody in Swededn curls." Where would you go if you wanted to CURL? I wanna hurl when I see them curl.

• See the Women's Gold Medal game? Canada finally won one. Then their under age female players came out swizzlin beer and champagne and smoking cigars and partied on the ice. Wonder if any of them wrote their name in the ice while.... oh never mind you get it. Olympic Committee horror!

• American Idol gets bigger ratings and NBC paid billions to televise by taped delay, doesn't NBC know about the internet and instant results?
