Speaking of quotes, here are some from Susan. I call them "Susan-isms"

  1. Beating the gun... (combines "beat the clock" and "jumping the gun")
  2. Happy go lightly (means "happy go lucky")
  3. I scratch my back, you scratch yours (well, you know what she means)
  4. The cat is out of the box (means, "the cat is out of the bag")

Well, I just got home for work and was not happy to see this post - supposed to be our "secret".
Hmmm, paybacks can be fun...I think I"ll go hide his Martin as a start....

Gee my sweet loving wife of 87 years is perfect. The few times she does speak she is as pleasant as can be with perfect diction, inflection and content. She has never mispoken or used a malaprop especially when she discusses sports. Perfect I tell you.

And that's the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. So HELP me God.

I did work for a guy that had a few:
1-when he wanted details he'd say, "be pacific".
2-he often recognized folks by giving them "Cujos"
3-when in a hurry he'd say,"just give me the spectaculars"
4-"a bird in the hand is better in the bushes" Huh?
5-if you didn't get it done on time you were a "prognosticator"
and on and on and on in 28 years.

Susan should do "stand up" to warm up the Crowd at one of Blaze's Gigs...

Love the Photo and I also agree that Susan should do stand up comedy before an Eddie Show!
