Saturday driving to Abington MO'H says, "Is there something in my eye?" NO. "There is" NOPE "You sure?" YEP and on it went all the way to Abington.
- While there she is trying to catch a fly, a large fly, buzzing her head. She asks the women she's with, "Did you see that giant fly?" A woman we didn't know, who we found out later was there only because she was traveling with one of our old friends who just stopped for a few minutes, said, "There is no fly. Do you see white lights?"
Turns out she was an Optometrist and said, "You have a retina problem, get to the E.R." We end up at the ER Sunday night. And an Ophthalmologist appointment on Monday where she was just dropped off while I went to work.
- Doctor says "Whoa there Nellie!" "You need an operation to re-attach your retina that was cut." They just happened to have a laser handy so they zapped her eye and fixed it. I hope they fixed it. Doctor said that without the surgery she MAY have had a detached retina which can be permanently blinding.
So she's home. Resting. Getting well.

Any part of the body that is detached from where it is supposed to be attached is Not Good. I have an opening on May 4 @ 4PM...
Slim, you dropped her off? Dropped her off? How did she find her way home? You dropped her off? Did he at least leave you with a cane, Maureen ? Get well soon.
I didn't drop her off, #2 daughter did. I was summoned once they said "operate". I picked her groggy self up because it was over by the time they got me.
Please explain how the retina becomes detached. Is there trauma associated with that? Does it just happen? Bring in the COOKER for an expert opinion. Maureen, we will pray for you and also that guy you hang out with (He needs help)
"dropped off" sounds like spousal abuse!
