Attorney General Richard Blumenthal
- well, the answer is...he claimed for many years to have served in Viet Nam as a Marine.
- the truth is that after 5 deferments & a Draft Lottery # of 5 he found himself in the Marine Reserves.
- At the time it was a much sought after position. Not many people could get into the Reserves in 1969
- Oh, yea, Richard was working at the White House at the time of his "Enlistment" in the Marines Reserve.
- The man is a liar. And today, election day, to see if he could run for Chris Dodd's seat as Senator from Conn. he held a Press Conference and said that he "MIS-SPOKE" about his Viet Nam Service.
If you are interested you should Google this Fraud and you will see what a blessed life he has lived...up until now !

In all likelihood he will win the primary. He will get killed in the election since his opponent is expected to be a REAL Viet Nam vet
Only cool people were accepted into the Reserves in 1968.
Did I mention I was a Reservist who defended NJ and Camp AP Hill for 6 years? Not 1 VC ever penetrated my defenses. "Serving Proudly; Part Time" was my motto.
Rumor has in the Pentagon that they were so impressed with my service as a part timer that they decided to end the draft. I'm just sayin.
why do these men make this stuff up?
